Christ Church Yorkana, 5 Main St., Yorkana, will host "The Great Jungle Journey" vacation Bible school (VBS) from Monday to Friday, July 7 to 11, from 9 to 11:30 a.m. The program is for children age 4 through those who have completed sixth grade.

The VBS will include songs, crafts, snacks, outdoor games, memory verse games and teaching time. Offerings will be received for Heifer International, and the greater the donation total, the more food Pastor Jason will have poured over him. Last year, he was "tarred and feathered" with chocolate syrup and feathers at the closing ceremony.
