The ELANCO Library, 11 Chestnut Drive, New Holland, invites guests to enjoy its air conditioning during operating hours. Regular hours are Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Tuesdays, Fridays, and Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Visitors may stay and relax for as long as they would like during these times.

In addition to an air-conditioned space, the library offers books, newspapers, and magazines to read; a water cooler; free Wi-Fi and public computers; public restrooms; a children's play and learning area; and more. Guests are also encouraged to sign up for the library's all-ages Summer Reading Program; register for a library card, which provides access to ELANCO Library's 42,000 items as well as borrowing privileges at other public libraries in the county; and participate in the numerous programs hosted at the library.

The library is running a $50,000 Energy for Learning fundraising campaign to fund heating, air conditioning, and HVAC repairs. A climate-controlled library protects collections, improves indoor air quality, and enhances the experience of all visitors. Donations will help keep the library open, welcoming, and accessible for the entire community.
