This year's winners of the Women for Women scholarships winners offered by the Elizabeth Hughes Society were Lori McKnight and Crissy Stoeffler.

McKnight attends Millersville University, studying special education for high school students. Stoeffler will pursue sociology at Kutztown University to help troubled families and keep children out of foster care.

Committeewoman Marsha Williams stated that this year's applicants showed outstanding qualifications and high goals, and each fit into the club's goals of education and cultural enrichment. Other committee members are Carol Hunter, Maria McCall, Patsy Reed, Judy Kay Bard and Marilyn Muston.
