St. Luke's United Church of Christ, 222 N. Broad St., Lititz, hosts many outreach programs that benefit local charities. The church's most recent outreach was to collect backpacks filled with school supplies. The backpacks were then donated to Keystone Family Alliance. The service provides aid to adoptive and foster families.

Lori Hamilton from Keystone Family Alliance was at St. Luke's on Aug. 3 to pick up the 56 filled backpacks that the church members collected, expressing her gratitude to the church.
