Historic Preservation Summit Posted

The Historic Preservation Trust of Lancaster County will host its fourth annual Lancaster County Historic Preservation Summit on Friday, Sept. 26, at the Ware Center, 42 N. Prince St., Lancaster. The conference will include presentations from experts on the importance of historic preservation in Lancaster County.

The schedule for the event includes check-in and a breakfast reception from 8:30 to 9 a.m.; welcome and presentations from 9 a.m. to noon; a catered lunch at the historic Sehner-Ellicott-von Hess House from noon to 1 p.m.; and continued presentations at the Ware Center from 1 to 5 p.m. The keynote speaker will be David W. Linebaugh, professor of historic preservation and former dean of the School of Architecture, Planning & Preservation at the University of Maryland, who will speak at 4 p.m.
