Loft Plans Driving Out Hunger Golf Event

Loft Community Partnership will host its second annual G.R. Mitchell Driving Out Hunger golf fundraiser on Wednesday, Sept. 10, at Crossgates Golf Club, 1 Crossland Pass, Millersville.

Registration will begin at 7 a.m., and the four-person scramble will begin at 8 a.m. with a shotgun start. The set cost for four people includes golf, use of a cart, continental breakfast, lunch, snacks, course games, and contests. A giveaway drawing and silent auction will be available to help raise money for Loft's neighbors in need.

To register by Wednesday, Aug. 27, visit http://www.loftcp.org. Currently, Loft serves more than 400 families weekly, and the proceeds from the Driving Out Hunger event will help Loft sustain its programs aimed at tackling food insecurity across the county.
