This year's winners of the $1,000 Women for Women scholarships offered by the Elizabeth Hughes Society were Lori McKnight and Crissy Stoeffler.

McKnight attends Millersville University, where she is studying special education for high school students. Stoeffler will pursue sociology at Kutztown University to help troubled families and keep children out of foster care.

Committee members who selected the winners included Marsha Williams, Carol Hunter, Maria McCall, Patsy Reed, Judy Kay Bard, and Marilyn Muston.
