Catalyst Christian School Students Serve the Community

Catalyst Christian School held its annual Serve-A-Thon on Oct. 10, a day dedicated to putting faith into action through community service. Three hundred students, joined by 79 chaperones, spent five hours serving across the region at 14 local nonprofit organizations.

The Serve-A-Thon is one of the school's two major fundraisers each year, helping to support the school's operating budget and keep tuition affordable for families. The event also reflects two of Catalyst's core values: "Serving is our Strength" and "Community is our Commitment."

Students served at a variety of locations, including Unto Ministry, Good Samaritan and Green Meadow Farm. There was also the opportunity to bless local first responders.

In addition to making a difference in the community, the Serve-A-Thon offers students the opportunity to explore a range of vocations and careers while discovering how to use their God-given gifts in service to others.

Through Serve-A-Thon, Catalyst students are learning that serving others not only strengthens their faith but also builds lasting connections within the community, living out the school's mission of "Igniting Faith. Forming Leaders. Launching Lives."
