Hempfield Church of the Brethren, 1186 Stevens St., Manheim, will host a Blue Christmas service on Friday, Dec. 12, at 7 p.m.

During a season in which many wrestle with grief and loss, this service will offer a place to reflect, grieve and experience hope found in Christ through song, Scripture, candle lighting, and a variety of prayer stations. Additionally, everyone may select a handmade prayer token to mark the experience.
