Horn Farm Center Posts Program

The Horn Farm Center, 4945 Horn Road, York, will hold an Ecological Restoration Certificate program on Saturdays, Jan. 10 and 24 and Feb. 7.

The hands-on, three-day workshop is geared toward anyone interested in cultivating an active role of compassionate stewardship in their local ecosystems. Participants will gain experience and confidence applying regenerative skills to accelerate ecological health and resilience, focusing specifically on techniques that prioritize human power instead of chemical intervention. The skills participants will learn can be applied at home, in a landscaping business, in public conservation or restoration projects, and in regenerative agriculture projects.

Attendees will be invited to participate in mindful movement and reflective writing exercises throughout the course. Participants should also be prepared to stand for long periods of time and perform manual labor, such as removing invasive species and planting trees.

The program is for both beginners and those with experience in ecological restoration. There is a fee. To register, visit https://tinyurl.com/eco-restoration-certificate.
