Rissers Mennonite Church, 8360 Elizabethtown Road, Elizabethtown, will host its annual community picnic on Saturday, July 19, at 4:30 p.m.

A speaker from Elizabethtown Community Housing & Outreach Services (ECHOS) will share about the organization at 5:15 p.m. ECHOS will lead attendees in a poverty simulation activity to build awareness of the realities of poverty that people in the community face. Attendees are also encouraged to bring items to donate to the ministry, such as kitchen supplies, hygiene items, and clothing.
