Women of all ages and preschool children are invited to attend Neighbors Sharing and Caring, a women's ministry of the Chiques Church, 4045 Sunnyside Road, Manheim, on Tuesday, Dec. 9, from 9 to 10:45 a.m.

Paulette Teague will speak about "Transforming Trials Into Triumphs of Faith." She will share the journey of how her family's faith was tested and strengthened through the challenges of raising a child with a severe intellectual disability. She will highlight how God redeemed devastating circumstances into a testimony of His grace and goodness, leading to a life of purpose and a ministry, Jessica and Friends Community, that provides faith-based services for individuals with autism and intellectual disabilities.

Paulette and her husband, Peter, have both worked in different levels of the education field. They have co-authored a book sharing their journey with Jessica and God's faithfulness, "Jessica's Story - But God," published in 2023. Paulette also ministered in various roles alongside her husband as he served as president of Lancaster Bible College for 21 years. The couple has four children and 10 grandchildren.
