LCAA Sets Show, Winter Classes

The Lancaster County Art Association (LCAA), 149 Precision Ave., Strasburg, will kick off its winter membership show with a reception on Sunday, Jan. 18. The show will run through Thursday, Feb. 12. 

Henrietta Holton-Thomas, a past president of LCAA, will have an exhibit of her artwork in the Steinmetz Gallery. Her show will include works in watercolors, oils, and sculpture.

Show hours are Thursdays through Saturdays from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Sundays from 1 to 4 p.m. Admission is free.

LCAA will also offer winter classes. The classes will include Landscape Painting Plus - Winter with Carol Herr on Saturdays from March 7 to 28 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.; a Canvas Stretching Workshop with Herr on Saturday, Feb. 7, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.; Passion for Pastels with Dot Stepenaski on Thursdays from Feb. 5 to March 12 from 9 a.m. to noon; Introduction to Acrylic with Jason Ward on Saturday, Feb. 21, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.; Intermediate Watercolor with Tony Bonazzi on Mondays from Feb. 9 to March 16 from 7 to 9 p.m.; Basic Drawing with Bonazzi on Wednesdays from Feb. 11 to March 18 from 1 to 3 p.m.; and Intermediate Drawing with Bonazzi on Mondays from Feb. 9 to March 16 from 1 to 3 p.m.
