French Creek State Park

843 Park Road, Elverson, 9 to 11 a.m. The group will walk around Hopewell Lake, a distance of 2.5 miles. Attendees should meet at the Hopewell boat launch. Registration is not required.

Jan. 2, 2026. Helping Hands Bingo

Boone Area Library

129 N. Mill St., Birdsboro. Bingo is open to seniors and children age 3 and over along with their caregivers. There is no charge to participate, and no registration is required.

207 N. Walnut St., Morgantown, 1 to 2 p.m. Members of the writing community support group, hosted by author, editor and book coach Alissa Butterworth, will work on their creative writing process. The program is free and people of all ages are welcome. No registration is required.

Boone Area Library, Birdsboro, 10:15 a.m. Featured will be stories by children's author Mo Willem and related crafts. Story time is geared for children ages 2 to 6, but youngsters of all ages are welcome. No registration is required.
