Atglen Public Library (APL) will present a Galentine's Night Designer Purse Bingo on Saturday, Feb. 7, at the Octorara Primary Learning Center, 87 Highland Road, Atglen. Doors will open at 5 p.m.; bingo will start at 6 p.m.

Galentine's Night (or Day) is an unofficial holiday dedicated to honoring female friendships. It originated from the sitcom "Parks and Recreation."

Bingo will include 14 games; extra books and daubers will be for sale. There will also be special games and early bird games. Attendees will have an opportunity to win door prizes. A snack bar will be available.

Additionally, APL is offering a chance for people to win gift cards to three local restaurants: The Belvedere Inn in Lancaster, The Whip Tavern in Coatesville and 1906 at Longwood Gardens. Winners will be chosen through a random drawing.

Tickets will be on sale through Feb. 7. Tickets can be purchased at APL, 121 Main St., Atglen; from library board members; or at the purse bingo. Winners will be drawn on Feb. 7 at the conclusion of the bingo. Winners do not have to be present to win. Winners will be notified by email from APL.
