Kreutz Creek Library (KCL), 66 Walnut Springs Road, Hellam, will offer programs and services to the community. For details and registration, call the library at 717-252-4080 or visit http://www.yorklibraries.org.

The Friends of Kreutz Creek Library will be at the library to accept donations on Tuesday, March 3, and Thursday, March 19, from noon to 6 p.m.

The Friend will also hold a Spring Puzzle Swap on Saturday, March 7, from 10 a.m. to noon.

KCL's upcoming programs include Baby and Toddler Story Time for children from birth to age 3 on Wednesdays, March 4, 18, and 25, and Preschool Story Time for children ages 3 to 5 on Fridays, March 6, 20, and 27. These programs will run from 10:30 to 11:15 a.m., and reservations are required.

Library Tales for Tails will take place on March 19 from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. Children ages 6 to 11 may read to certified therapy dogs, and participants may also pet and hug the dogs. People may sign up for a 10-minute time slot when they arrive.

The Builder's Club, for children ages 6 to 11, will meet on March 19 from 4:30 to 5:30 p.m. and Saturday, March 21, from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m.

The Danger Club, for tweens ages 9 to 11, will meet on Tuesday, March 10, from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m.

The Library Squad, for people ages 9 to 18, will gather on Tuesday, March 17, from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m.

Manga Book Club for youths ages 12 to 18 will meet on March 21 from 1:30 to 2:30 p.m. This program will occur after the library is closed to the public. Only teens attending this program will be allowed inside.

The Spoiler Alert! teen group, for teens ages 12 to 18, will meet on March 3 from 5 to 6 p.m. via Zoom. The group reads teen books and posts reviews to Instagram and YouTube. Reservations are required.

VITA will offer free tax preparation assistance at the library on Saturdays, March 14 and 21, by appointment only. To make an appointment call the York County United Way at 717-843-0957.

Stitch and Chat groups, for knitters and crocheters, will meet on Thursdays, March 5 and 19, from 6 to 7:45 p.m. and Wednesdays, March 11 and 25, from noon to 1:45 p.m.

York Chess Club, for people of all ages, will be held on March 3, 10, and 17 from 6 to 8 p.m.

A Death Cafe Book Club will be held on Tuesday, March 24, from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Andrea Williams, a bereavement counselor with Grane Hospice, will lead attendees in discussing "They Left Us Everything" by Plum Johnson. The program is designed to provide comfort and a supportive environment to those struggling with loss. Registration is required, and copies of the book are available for checkout at the library.

A Silent Book Club, for people age 13 or older, will take place on March 5 from 6 to 7:45 p.m. The program will feature trivia, refreshments, reading, and book talk.

A Community Wildlife Safety program, for people age 18 or older, will be presented by Raven Ridge Wildlife Center on Tuesday, March 31, from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Attendees will learn about the most common injuries animals receive, how to prevent these incidents, and what to do if they find a sick or injured animal.

The Green Thumb Garden Club will meet on Thursday, March 12, from 6:30 to 7:45 p.m. Melanie Markowski will share "What Should I Prune in March? And Other Pruning Tips."

The Kreutz Creek Cookbook Group will meet on Thursday, March 26, from 6 to 7:45 p.m. The theme will be "Something Irish/Something Green." Attendees should bring a sweet or savory prepared dish based on the theme and a copy of the recipe.

The Friends of Kreutz Creek Library will meet on Monday, March 16, from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m.
