"A Dickens Tale" To Be Performed at The Trust

Bright Star Touring Theatre, a national professional touring theater company based in Asheville, N.C., will present "A Dickens Tale," based on Charles Dickens' "A Christmas Carol," at 7 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 12, at The Trust Performing Arts Center's Black Box Theatre, 37 N. Market St., Lancaster.

"A Dickens Tale" is a 45-minute, fast-paced version of the literary classic, introducing audiences to Ebenezer Scrooge. Content in a life of misery, Scrooge is visited by a variety of ghosts who encourage him to change. The show features all the classic characters, including old Scrooge, bumbling Cratchit, Jacob Marley, the three ghostly visitors, and more - all played by just two professional actors.
