Pirate Luncheon and Parade Slated

The Merchants Association of Columbia will host a Pirate Luncheon and Parade on Saturday, March 28, from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Historic Columbia Market House, 552 Cherry St., Columbia. The event is open to people of all ages.

People are invited to parade with decorated bikes, trikes or wagons beginning at 4:15 p.m. The event will also include temporary tattoos, a scavenger hunt and wayfinding challenges, treasure map-making, knot-tying lessons, photo opportunities, a geode station, a cupcake station and an ice cream bar. People are encouraged to bring their favorite doll, action figure or stuffed matey. Lunch will be available.
