Mount Joy Rotary Honors Students of the Month

The Donegal High School Counseling Office and Career Resource Center has announced that the Mount Joy Rotary Students of the Month for March are Molly O'Brien and Dominic Santiago-Vega. Students of the Month are honored during the Rotary Club's monthly luncheon meeting.

Molly is the daughter of Melissa Agnew of Mount Joy. Molly serves as the president of Future Business Leaders of America and the National Honor Society. She is a Link Crew leader and an active member of the Key Club and Quiz Bowl, as well as a member of the girls' tennis team. Throughout high school, she has participated in National History Day, where her historical documentaries advanced to the state competition.

Outside of school, Molly is actively involved in her church, regularly attending services and youth group. She enjoys volunteering in her community, including at Masonic Village, Mount Joy Gift & Thrift, and various local events.

Following graduation, Molly plans to attend college to pursue a double major in international and global relations and political science. After college, she plans to attend graduate school to receive her Juris Doctor.

Dominic Santiago-Vega is the son of Carolina Vega of Marietta. Dominic is an active member of the National Honor Society, Future Business Leaders of America, and Key Club, and he serves as a Link Crew leader. He has been recognized as both a Lenfest Scholar and Questbridge Match Scholar. Dominic competes on the cross-country and track and field teams.

Outside of school, Dominic enjoys learning about political events, creating model kits, and playing pickleball and board games.

After graduation, Dominic plans to attend college to pursue a degree in philosophy, politics, and economics, followed by law school. Dominic aspires to become a lawyer specializing in military justice.
