The Lancaster Christian Women's Club will hold a "For the Love of Baking" buffet luncheon meeting at 11:30 a.m. on Wednesday, May 6, at Casa di Fiori at The Inn at Leola Village, 38 Deborah Drive, Leola. Doors will open at 11 a.m.

The program will feature Megan Fraver, owner of a local micro-bakery, Sweet & Sourdough Co., and known as "the blessed blind baker," who will share her passion for baking sourdough treats. She will present her creations, including breads, brown-butter cookies, scones, and English muffins, with samples for attendees.

The speaker will be Lynn Jordan of Kouts, Ind., who will share "Front Porches and Friendships." Jordan is an author and chaplain, holds degrees in nursing and psychology, and is a first responder and certified health and wellness coach.

All women are invited to attend. There is a cost per person. Reservations and payments are required by Wednesday, April 22.
