What Christmas Means to Me

Christmas is not about the tree,

But spending time with family.

Nephews, nieces, and siblings come this day

To share the celebration and to play.

I look around and see

Everyone who is dear to me.

We sing to Christ who was born

Early on that Christmas morn.

He was born in a barn,

A feeding trough for His bed.

No soft little pillow for his soft little head.

The shepherds from the hills,

The wise men from their places,

All came to see the King

With gifts they wished to bring.

So when Christmas comes around again,

Don’t think about the presents, cookies, or the tree.

Think about how Jesus came,

To set us all...Free!
