Born and raised in Lancaster County, Courtney writes for the Lampeter-Strasburg, Solanco, and Penn Manor Advertisers and the Hempfield Merchandiser. She holds a bachelor’s degree in English and art history and a master’s in art history. As an extrovert who loves to travel, Mengel enjoys her job because it allows her the opportunity to meet different people from all over Lancaster County. She finds fulfillment in shining the light on people and organizations doing exciting things in the community.
