Cops for K.O.P..S Annual Charity Hockey Game
Feb 3
Since 2005, COPS for K.O.P.S. (Keep Our Pipers Silent) is committed to supporting the families of Pennsylvania fallen law enforcement officers who were killed in the line of duty, particularly, the educational needs of their children.
Each year, COPS for K.O.P.S. holds the Fallen Officers’ Benefit Hockey Game to raise funds for our mission by honoring our Commonwealths’ officers who paid the ultimate sacrifice in the prior year. It is an unfortunate reality that events such as this are needed every year. One can only hope that an event like this can help the families in some small way and ensure that each child knows their loved one is a hero to so many.
On February 3, 2024 teams of active duty, and retired law enforcement officers such as the PA. State Police, Philadelphia Police, Pittsburgh Police Dept. and local municipal police officers face off in an ice hockey benefit game at the Giant Center in Hershey. This fun-filled family event is our largest fundraiser with our goal set to raise $50,000 in 2024! In previous years, over 1,000 family and friends along with media personnel join us for a full hockey game, raffles & games followed by an After Party with family members of the honored, players and the community at The Hershey Italian Lodge. Visit http://www.facebook.com/cops4KOPS for info.
Tickets are $10 at the door of the Giant Center, Hershey Pa. Ceremonial activities begin at 12:45; puck drop at 1pm. Following the game is an After Party at the Hershey Italian Lodge, requiring a separate ticket of $20/person including DJ Entertainment, full meal, beer, beverages, raffles & silent auction items and a TON OF FUN!
