Homeschool Nature Connection
May 28
Help your child develop a sense of belonging and connection with the natural world through exploration, observation, and creativity. Each class offers home school students a blend of outdoor learning, fun activities, and environmental literacy, encouraging children to connect with nature in meaningful and lasting ways. Topics may include plants (botany, foraging, herbalism), animals (tracking, behavior, adaptation), ecology, history, and awareness through games, art, and stories. Lessons promote the concept of stewardship and relationship with the land.
This class is geared towards children ages 8 and up.
Homeschool groups are welcome! If you are interested in bringing a school group or if your child will be attending with someone other than their legal guardian, please reach out to us at education@hornfarmcenter.org directly to coordinate.
