Unearth the Fascinating World of Fungi at the Horn Farm Center

The Horn Farm Center for Agricultural Education is thrilled to announce a new Spring Fungi Series in collaboration with the Eastern Penn Mushroomers. Beginning on Sunday, April 23rd from 10am to 2pm, this series will spotlight the diversity, versatility, and ecological significance of nature's great decomposers across four four-hour sessions. In addition to exploring fungi from scientific, ecological, and cultural perspectives, students will participate in mushroom forays at the Horn Farm Center led by experienced local foragers. Session topics include:

Session 1: Introduction to Mycology
April 23rd, 10am-2pm | $35/participant

Session 2: Medicinal and Culinary Uses
April 29th, 10am-2pm | $45/participant

Session 3: Mushroom Cultivation
May 13th, 10am-2pm | $45/participant

Session 4: Ecological and Alternative Uses for Fungi
May 27th, 10am-2pm | $45/participant

Participants can register for individual sessions or sign up for the full course at a discounted cost. All sessions will be held at the Horn Farm Center.
