Women's Foraging

A class for women, led by a woman. An evening of rematriation through kinship with the plants; a return to the skills and ancestral knowledge of Mother Earth. We will discuss the essentials of foraging including plant identification, terminology, safety, medicinal and edible uses of plants, honoring the land through harvest, as well as the history of women’s interaction with the land.
Please dress appropriately for the outdoors and off trail walking. A pencil and notebook is recommended. Students can meet instructor at the corn barn where the will commence. No children please (babies in arms welcome). 30% off for BIPOC women.
This class will be held on May 16 from 5:30-8:00 p.m.
