2022 Scholarship Winners Posted

PPL Foundation announced the 2022 recipients of its annual scholarship program, which will provide financial awards to students from communities throughout eastern and central Pennsylvania. The scholarships help students pursue their interests in engineering, information technology, and the trades.

The PPL Foundation awarded scholarships totaling $92,500. With a focus on increasing interest in STEM careers, the program awarded 15 scholarships of $5,000 to students pursuing college degrees and seven scholarships of $2,500 for students pursuing tech and trade careers.

Local 2022 Powering a Brighter Future Scholarship recipients include Power Scholars Allison Evans, Elizabethtown; Marie Flinchbaugh, Lancaster; Sophia Harrill, Manheim; Andreas Jaramillo, Kinzers; Mackenzie Ridilla, Lancaster; and Lillian Stehman, Mount Joy. Powerful Tech and Trade recipients include Sergio Borrero, Lancaster; Rhiannon Roth, Ephrata; and Nathan Staherski, Ephrata.
