The Arts at Millersville University will present 3 Divas Jazz Trio (3D) at Club 42 in the Atrium of the Ware Center in Lancaster on Saturday, March 20, at 7:30 p.m. While not open to the public, the event may be viewed for free via livestream by searching for "Club 42: 3 Divas Jazz Trio" on YouTube or visiting http://www.artsmu.com and clicking on the link in the slider.

The trio consists of Jackie Warren, piano; Amy Shook, bass; and Sherrie Maricle, leader and drummer of the DIVA Jazz Orchestra. The trio plays original, traditional, and contemporary standards from all genres of music.

Warren, Shook, and Maricle met in May 2014 at the Cleveland Playhouse while playing in the DIVA Jazz Orchestra as part of Maurice Hines' show "Tappin' Thru Life," which was named the 2016 Audelco Awards' Musical Production of the Year. Since its inception, 3D has performed at various prestigious venues and festivals, as well as on television and radio programs. 3D's most recent recording, "I Love to See You Smile," was created in January 2020 at Red Rock Recording Studio. The band's self-titled CD was released in 2016. Warren, Shook, and Maricle are also experienced educators, having presented workshops and clinics at numerous universities, colleges, and high schools throughout the country.
