4-H Horse Club Plans Meeting

The Spinnin' Spurs 4-H Horse Club will hold its re-organizational meeting on Monday, Feb. 8, at the Farm and Home Center, 1383 Arcadia Road, Lancaster, in the multi-purpose room at 6:30 p.m. Youths must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian. The 4-H Horse Cloverbuds, open to children ages 5 to 7 as of Jan. 1, will also meet at the same time and location with their own age-appropriate books and activities.

4-H Horse Clubs provide educational opportunities but do not provide horses or riding lessons. Participants do not have to own a horse to join the club. Future club meetings will be held on the second Monday of each month, excluding July and December.

There is an enrollment fee for each new member. Participants should preregister by contacting Lynette Sauder at lssauder827@gmail.com or 717-468-0947. Attendees must wear masks and social distance at the meeting. Space is limited.
