50Plus EXPO To Feature Seminars, Entertainment

The seminar and entertainment lineup for the 23rd annual Dauphin County 50plus EXPO has been announced.

The free, one-day event, hosted by OLP Events and the Dauphin County Area Agency on Aging, will take place from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Thursday, April 28, at Hershey Lodge, 325 University Drive, Hershey.

The 50plus EXPO will include exhibitors covering all facets of life for Dauphin County's over-50 population, including housing, medical services, nutrition, leisure, home improvements, finances and more.

The entertainment and seminar lineup for the Dauphin County 50plus EXPO is as follows: 9:45 a.m., "Senior Scams" - Jerry Mitchell, outreach specialist with the Pennsylvania Office of Attorney General, will educate guests on the latest scams targeting older adults; 10:30 a.m., "Container Gardening" - Kathy Quarles with Stauffers of Kissel Hill will demonstrate how to use annuals, perennials, bulbs and greens to get year-round use of containers; 11:15 a.m., "Elvis Presley Tribute Artist" - Reading native Jeff Krick Jr, age 25, will bring the sounds of "The King" to the 50plus EXPO.
