Church Posts Patriotic Concert

First Reformed Church, 40 E. Orange St., Lancaster, will present a concert, "Stars, Stripes, and Pipes," on First Friday, July 3, at 8 p.m. Doors will open at 7:30 p.m. The 30-minute program will feature guest organist Ken Krause, who is an organ builder with Columbia Organ Works and the organist at St. John Lutheran Church in Lancaster.

In celebration of the United States' 250th birthday, the concert will include "You're a Grand Old Flag" by George M. Cohan and "Prayer for Peace" by Paul Fey, along with "Patriotic Prelude" by the late Gordon Young, who was an organist at First Presbyterian Church in Lancaster. The concert will conclude with Irving Berlin's "God Bless America."
