Ascension Lutheran Church, 600 E. Penn Grant Road, Willow Street, will host its annual patriotic concert on Thursday, July 2, at 6:30 p.m.

The indoor event will feature the Lampeter-Strasburg Community Band playing patriotic pieces and other selections, including "The Star-Spangled Banner," "Mack the Knife," "Swing's the Thing," "Salute to the Patriots," "Liberty Bell March," "What a Wonderful World," "Independentia March," "Danny Boy," "Armed Forces - Pride of America," and "Stars and Stripes Forever." The band is directed by music educator Howard Boots and consists of 45 members.
