Brennan Joins Music School Faculty

Ascension Academy has announced the addition of new faculty member Jason Brennan. He is a specialist in low brass instruments and will offer trombone, baritone, and tuba lessons.

Brennan holds a degree in music performance from Millersville University and is fluent in many musical styles, ranging from jazz to classical. He currently performs with Big Fat Meanies,and Matches - Funk on Fire, in addition to his own brass quintet. He has appeared with the Northern Appalachian Wind Symphony and has played for numerous shows at the Fulton Theatre. Brennan teaches that students should learn, appreciate, and perform all styles and genres of music.

Ascension Academy is a music school located at 600 E. Penn Grant Road, Willow Street. It offers instruction in orchestral instruments, piano, and guitar. The faculty also includes Janine Thomas, principal clarinetist of the Lancaster Symphony, and John Zielinski, music director of Ascension Lutheran Church.
