Church Plans Craft Market Event

Lampeter United Methodist Church, 1101 Village Road, Lampeter, will hold its annual Art and Craft Market and Silent Auction on Saturday, Nov. 6, from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Attendees may shop at more than 20 stands, many of which are new this year. Additionally, Carol Dale, an award-winning artist, will offer original paintings for sale, as well as prints, cards, and hot pads. Local children's author Lynette Brennemen will sell and autograph copies of her books. There will be live Christmas music from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Food will be available for takeout only. The UMW will hold a bake sale, and its homemade soups will be available for purchase by the quart.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the event will have fewer crafters than in previous years, and tables will be spaced farther apart. Customers are asked to wear masks, and some will be available for attendees who do not have one.

Proceeds from table rentals and the silent auction will benefit the Mission Committee and will be used to help with special needs of missionaries as well as short-term mission trips. The UMW's proceeds will go to missionaries as well as needs around the church.
