A community service of remembrance will be held at Pequea Church, 40 Church Road, Lancaster, on Sunday, Dec. 3, at 6 p.m. The service is for anyone who has lost a loved one or a friend.

Pam Zimmerman will speak on losing a spouse. Her sister, Connie Kreider, will speak about losing a child. They will share how they got through the holiday season.

In addition, Chris Freet, Pequea's pastor of discipleship, will present a short meditation emphasizing how Jesus enters into people's suffering. There will be special music followed by a candlelighting ceremony. Light refreshments will be available following the service.
