Burke grabs gold at District 3 sectional

- Elizabethtown’s Francis Burke pinned Warwick’s Brody Wissler at the 1:50 mark of their 127-pound quarterfinal bout at the Class AAA sectional at Hempfield on Saturday, March 17. Burke claimed the championship at 127 with three falls.
- From the top, Hayden Best of Elizabethown works over Solanco’s Ayden Herr during their 121-pound bout at the Class AAA sectional at Hempfield on Saturday, February 17. Best pinned Herr in the second period, on his way to a fifth-place showing.
- Elizabethtown Bear Kai Laszakovits tries to turn his 145-pound opponent at the Class AAA sectional at Hempfield on Saturday, February 17. Laszakovits came in fifth at his weight class.
- Steven McDonald of Elizabethtown rides Milton Hershey’s Tyler Walker during their 152-pound bout at the Class AAA sectional at Hempfield on Saturday, February 17. McDonald scored a 4-3 decision.
- Luka Spayd of Elizazbethtown looks to tighten his grip on Tshitiz Tamang of Susquehanna Township during their 139-pound bout at the Class AAA sectional at Hempfield on Saturday, February 17. Spayd led 7-2 before pinning Tamang at the 4:46 mark.
- Elizabethtown’s Reese Stauffer rides Hempfield’s Julian Brito during 107-pound action at the Class AAA sectional at Hempfield on Saturday, February 17. Stauffer pinned Brito at the 3:31 mark.
