Vespers service planned at Boehm's Chapel
The annual vespers service at Boehm's Chapel will be held at 3 p.m. on Sunday, Dec 1. The historic chapel is located at 13 W. Boehms Road.
This year's service will be led by a team from Byerland Mennonite Church. Music will be provided by pianist Jeane Caleb and violinist Christine Bye. The worship team of Valerie Garber, Yvonne Garber, Emily Railing, and Dale Mylin will lead congregational singing.
The Rev. Matthew Bye, lead pastor at Byerland, will provide the meditation.
Boehm's Chapel board members and Byerland members Kevin Moore, Ben Railing, and Mylin will also participate in the service. Mylin is president of the Boehm's Chapel board.
Boehm's Chapel, built in 1791, is a landmark of the United Methodist Church. Byerland Mennonite, also south of Willow Street, recently marked its 300th anniversary.
