The West Lampeter Township Holiday Tree Lighting Celebration has been postponed to Wednesday, Dec. 11, at 7 p.m. due to the Lampeter-Strasburg Pioneers playing in the team's state championship football game on Dec. 4. The tree lighting will take place at a new location - Village Park, 800 Village Road, Lancaster - and will feature music, holiday treats, fire pits for s'mores, and a visit from Santa.

Helping to make the event possible are Lampeter Fire Company, Willow Street Fire Company, the Lampeter-Strasburg High School band, Willow Valley, and the Girl Scouts of the Hans Herr Service Unit.
