The West Lampeter Township Parks & Recreation Board will host a free outdoor movie night in Village Park, 800 Village Road, Lampeter, on Friday, June 13. The featured movie will be "Cars."

The event will kick off around dusk, but families are encouraged to come early to enjoy lawn games, fire pits, and food concessions. Thanks to Kings Automotive Services, Tow Mater will also be at the event.

The movie night will celebrate Lancaster Water Week with a kid-friendly activity that will allow participants to get creative while learning about how West Lampeter is working to clean up and protect local waterways.

Organizers will also reveal the films that will be shown at the movie nights on Fridays, July 11 and Aug. 8.
