"A Taste of Science" planned

Lancaster Science Factory, 454 New Holland Ave., Lancaster, will host A Taste of Science on Thursday, Oct. 19, from 6 to 9 p.m.

Attendees may enjoy an all-new Taste of Peru dinner menu, including vegetarian options, catered by Frisco's. Science-themed cocktails, wine, hard seltzers, and non-alcoholic beverages will be available.

Through the Science of Beer Competition, the Lancaster Brewers Club will offer attendees the opportunity to sample more than 10 brews and vote for their favorite.

Attendees may form teams of up to eight people to compete in Live Science Trivia hosted by Drew's Clues.

The event will also feature giveaway drawings and a silent auction, featuring local experiences, special gifts, food, beverages, and more. There will be lots of prizes and surprises, plus time to explore the hands-on exhibits throughout the Science Factory. Adults are welcome to climb the Sky Bridge.
