Stream study, art programs set

Three programs for young people will be offered in June at the Eicher Arts Center, 409 Cocalico St., in Ephrata Borough's Grater Park.

A Lancaster County Parks and Recreation naturalist will present a Family-Style Stream Study on Tuesday, June 13, from 10 to 11:30 a.m. Participating children must be at least 6 years old. If the water level of the Cocalico Creek permits, participants may go into the stream.

Ashley Fox from The Clever Brush will lead two programs, which require advance registration by emailing info@eicherartscenter.com. On Tuesday, June 20, from 9 to 11 a.m., children ages 8 to 12 will paint a picture of a cat. On Tuesday, June 27, from 9 to 11 a.m., teens ages 13 to 18 will paint a picture of a boat.
