Advoz Plans Training

Advoz: Mediation & Restorative Practices will offer an online Circle Process training from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Wednesday to Friday, Feb. 3 to 5.

Designed to equip volunteer facilitators to build community and repair harm among youths and intergenerational groups, the course will be led by Chris Fitz, Advoz director of strategic initiatives, and Earldine Tolbert, Advoz trainer and circle keeper, with additional experienced guest facilitators.

The course will utilize a Zoom meeting format best accessed with a computer laptop that has a webcam/microphone or with an electronic tablet. Readers may contact chris@advoz.org questions about accessibility.

A certificate of completion for 21 training hours will be presented to each participant upon conclusion of the three days.

This intermediate training requires either experience in Advoz's Mediation and Restorative Justice programs, the Intro Training in Conflict, Communication & Culture, or an equivalent. For questions about qualifying for this training, readers may contact chris@advoz.org.
