The 2023 Peace Tree lighting ceremony will be held on Wednesday, Nov. 15, at 6 p.m. at the Tree House Cafe at Penn State Health Children's Hospital, 600 University Drive, Hershey. Visitors should enter through the Children's Hospital entrance, where they will be directed to the event. Organizers recommended that attendees park at the Centerview Parking Garage.

The Association of Faculty and Friends (AFF) of Penn State Health, Milton S. Hershey Medical Center and Penn State College of Medicine began this project in 1987. The tree on the grounds of the Hershey Medical Center is decorated with white lights in memory of or in honor of special loved ones or people who have touched lives in a special way.

The Peace Tree remains a symbol of peace, hope, unity, joy, and love throughout the holiday season. All donors will receive a printed copy of the program, which will contain the list of all those individuals who will be honored or remembered this year. Donations received by Wednesday, Nov. 1, will be included in the booklet, and all donations will be recognized in the yearly scrapbook. Donations will be received through Christmas, Monday, Dec. 25.
