Agriculture Council Plans Gala

The Lancaster County Agriculture Council will present the Denim and Pearls Gala on Wednesday, Nov. 3, at the Britain Hill Venue and Vineyard, 790 Little Britain Road North, Quarryville.

The gala celebrates Lancaster County's farmers and the abundant food grown in Lancaster County, while supporting the Lancaster County Agriculture Council.

A social hour will begin at 5:30 p.m., with wine from the vineyard and beer, available as a part of the ticket price, and a silent auction. The brief program to follow will include an informal message on the state of agriculture in Pennsylvania from Pennsylvania Secretary of Agriculture Russell Redding. Mary Henry, chair of the Agriculture Council, will share an overview of council activities in 2021 and share about the organization's intended direction for 2022. Dinner catered by Taste of Philly will begin at 7 p.m. and will include a dessert bar.
