Air Depot Middletown welcomes newest tenant

With extensive renovations and upgrades nearly completed, Air Depot Middletown is ready for its new mission as a regional destination for logistics, transportation and warehouse tenants.

The 27-acre World War II-era industrial center, located at 532 E. Emaus St. in Middletown, has 430,000 square feet of rail-served warehouse and office space just a few miles south of Harrisburg International Airport. Built in 1940, the Air Depot offers a unique blend of modern amenities in a historic space that served as a major supply depot for the U.S. Army Air Corps during World War II.

Baltimore-based Miller Investments LLC owns the historic property, and is completing a range of extensive renovations and upgrades, including upgraded windows, loading docks and modern office shell space, as well as premium lighting, interior painting and an overall refresh of the historic façade.

The newly refreshed Air Depot Middletown is already attracting new tenants. Mansfield, Ohio-based Midwest Runner, an automotive recycling transportation company, recently opened its newest hub in 60,000 square feet of space at the center. It marks the company's first location in Pennsylvania.

Up to 100,000 square feet is still available for lease at Air Depot Middletown, which has 24/7 security, a guard station, outdoor storage, super-heavy zoning and reinforced flooring.
