The 53rd annual Millersville Turkey Trot will take place on Thanksgiving Day, Thursday, Nov. 27. The event will be held at Biemesderfer Stadium, 45 Pucillo Drive, Millersville.

The 5K will begin at the stadium at 9 a.m. A children's fun run will also be held at the stadium beginning at 8:20 a.m. Children's races will include a 100-meter race, a quarter-mile race, and a half-mile race.

New this year, Island Music Steel Drums will perform at the Millersville University parking garage from 8 to 10 a.m.

Runners, walkers, families, and friends are encouraged to participate in the event. People may register in advance at https://raceroster.com/events/2025/102658/53rd-millersville-turkey-trot. Packet pickup will be available at the stadium on Wednesday, Nov. 26, from 3:30 to 6 p.m., as well as on Nov. 27 from 7:30 to 8:30 a.m.
