Appell Center to welcome John Cleese

The Appell Center for the Performing Arts, 50 N. George St., York, will present "An Evening With the Late John Cleese" on Saturday, Oct. 28, at 7:30 p.m. in the Strand Theatre. During the performance, Cleese will offer all-new routines, shaped by his decades of experience.

Cleese, the co-founder of Monty Python, has worked on groundbreaking projects like "Monty Python's Flying Circus," "Monty Python and the Holy Grail," "Life of Brian," "Fawlty Towers" and "A Fish Called Wanda," and he has had notable roles in the James Bond and Harry Potter franchises.
