Art Association Plans Holiday Show

Lancaster County Art Association (LCAA), 149 Precision Ave., Strasburg, will hold its annual show from Sunday, Nov. 21, to Thursday, Dec. 23, with an opening reception on Nov. 21 at 1 p.m.

The annual show will feature artworks with a holiday theme as well as miniature works and crafts, which will be for sale. Featured in the Steinmetz Gallery will be works done by LCAA's plein air group, the Fair Weather Painters, on the Waber/Weber/Weaver Homestead.

The opening reception, besides awards for the winning pieces in the show, will include a special presentation at 2 p.m. by the owners of the homestead property, Lin and Susan Moedinger. They will talk about the history of the building and their plans to restore it.

The annual show and Waber/Weber/Weaver Homestead will be open on Thursdays through Saturdays from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. and on Sundays from 1 to 4 p.m. It will be closed on Thanksgiving, Thursday, Nov. 25, and Friday, Nov. 26. Admission is free.
