Art Exhibit, Scavenger Hunt Planned

Representatives of Switchboard Studios & Gallery will exhibit diverse artworks in the Caretaker's Cottage at Mount Bethel Cemetery, 700 Locust St., Columbia, on Saturday, April 25, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. The exhibit is open to the public at no cost and will be repeated on Sunday, April 26, from 2 to 4 p.m.

On both days, visitors may also take part in a scavenger hunt that involves locating the graves of artists interred in the cemetery. Maps for the scavenger hunt will be available in the cottage and may also be accessed using a cell phone. Participants who locate the sites and answer a question pertaining to the artists will be entered into a drawing for prizes.

These events will be held in conjunction with the Merchant's Association of Columbia's Fourth Saturday events.
