Pennsylvania College of Art & Design's Center for Creative Exploration (CCE) will sponsor Art Recess, a lunchtime art-making break for adults. Interested individuals are invited to bring their lunch and make some art or bring a craft they have already been working on.

The first session of the 2022-23 Art Recess season will be held Friday, Sept. 30, from 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Lancaster City Welcome Center, 38 Penn Square, Lancaster. Future sessions will take place on Fridays, Oct. 28, 2022 and Jan. 27, Feb. 24, March 31, April 28, and July 7, 2023.

Participants can drop in at any time during the 2.5-hour session. Past Art Recess projects have included Sharpie tie-dyed bandanas, baskets, collages, zines, tissue paper-and-glass luminarias, Model Magic sculptures and ornaments for Lancaster Museum of Art holiday trees.
